On Monday 16th January 2023 Bristol Rovers players, management and staff braved the shave to support teammate Nick Anderton, who was recently diagnosed with osteosarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer.

It was a great evening, which received nationwide news coverage, and saw even more money donated go the GoFundMe page which so far has raised over £45,000.
