On the final day of the 21/22 League Two season, Bristol Rovers sat just below the automatic promotion places in the table. In order to win automatic promotion, Rovers had to win and outscore fellow contenders Northampton Town by at least five goals. Both teams were pitted against relegation bound sides. Just before half-time, Northampton were 3-0 against Barrow, and Rovers were just 2-0 up against Scunthorpe United. It was beginning to look like mission impossible, but what happened next would be talked about for decades to come. I was fortunate enough to be able to capture some of the mind boggling chaos which unfolded.

Captured from the sky, footage of the incredible moment Bristol Rovers scored their 7th goal of the match. Barrow had scored on the brink of half time in their game, meaning Rovers were able to move above Northampton on goals scored, securing automatic promotion.
